Vic: Police question man over Frankston hit-and-run

MELBOURNE, Aug 13 AAP - A 23-year-old man has turned himself in to police after a hit-and-run
accident in Melbourne's east overnight.

A man in his mid-20s was killed on the Dandenong-Frankston road near Fay Street about
10.45pm (AEST), police said.

A man from Seaford surrendered to police shortly after 2.30am (AEST).

The fatality took Victoria's road toll for this year to 266, which was 18 more than
at the same time last year.
